I started in Campus Recreation as a lifeguard, swim instructor and soon after was offered a position as Masters Swim Coach. I was promoted to Student Building Ambassador (shift supervisor) after a year and continued to work in facilities and aquatics. I was nominated to the Recreation Clubs Council (RCC) and was the treasurer of the RCC my senior year of undergrad. I completed my tenure as the Graduate Assistant of Aquatics & Safety at Texas State University and accepted my first Professional Staff position at American University as the Facility Supervisor/Aquatics Coordinator.
